\nAt Radical Resthomes, we\u2019ve<\/u> long dreamed of redesigning senior housing, not just as a place to live, but as a thriving community where people truly belong. What started as an idea shared by a few has now become something much bigger. After connecting with like-minded projects across the globe, we can confidently say\u2014the movement is real<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\nWhen we first started reaching out to other community housing projects, we weren\u2019t sure what to expect. Would people be open to sharing their experiences? Would we find others who were as passionate about reshaping aging as we are? The answer was a resounding “yes.” Every project we contacted agreed to talk. They shared the highs, the lows, and everything in between, all in hopes of guiding us on our journey. More than that, they expressed excitement about what we\u2019re doing and encouraged us to keep pushing forward.<\/p>\n

\nThese conversations have been invaluable. As we\u2019ve learned from others who have walked the path of redesigning senior housing, we\u2019ve gained a wealth of knowledge that has shaped our approach. Some of our original ideas have evolved, while others have become even more essential to our vision. Most importantly, we\u2019ve seen firsthand the power of community\u2014both inside the housing projects and in the way these projects engage with the broader community.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not just about providing a roof over someone\u2019s head; it\u2019s about creating a space where people can thrive, connect, and support one another. These insights are helping us refine our plans for Radical Resthomes, and we\u2019re more confident than ever that we\u2019re on the right track.<\/p>\n
